Hon’ble Chief Guest of the occasion, Shri Mukul Srivastva Sir; EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR & Unit head IFFCO PHULPUR cum Chairman VMC, esteemed Guest of Honour Mrs Malvika Srivastava; President Mahila Chetna Club and First lady of Ghiya Nagar Township, Special guest Shri R.B Maiti Joint General Manager-Technical cum Nominee Chairman VMC, respected members of VMC, distinguished guests, media persons, parents, invitees, other dignitaries, beloved children and staff.

A very good evening to one and all!

v  At the very outset, on behalf of entire Vidyalaya family, I feel privileged to extend my heartfelt gratitude and a warm welcome to our reverend Chief Guest. Sir, you have always been a guiding light in all our academics and administrative endeavours.

v  I extend my hearty welcome to the Guest of Honour who is closely associated with the vidyalaya and has a keen interest in guiding us in all matters related to the smooth functioning of the vidyalaya.

v  I also extend my cordial welcome to all the Hon’ble member of VMC and one and all on this auspicious occasion of ANNUAL DAY CELEBRATION of KV IFFCO PHULPUR.

v  The most eagerly awaited event in the calendar of any school is its Annual Day Celebration.

v  Sir, on this august occasion, under due permission of your good honour I am extremely proud and privileged to present Annual report for the session 2018-19 before you all.


The total strength of students is 929 at the last count with 563 boys and 366 girls and we have a team of 43 dedicated staff members on date.


The academic year 2018-19 has been a very purposeful and fruitful one. The year witnessed many milestones of excellent achievements in academics, co-curricular activities and sports and games which aimed at imparting a quality education and holistic development of the students.

- In All INDIA Senior School Certificate Exam 2018 of class 12th the overall result of the vidyalaya was 100%.. Master Himanshu topped the science stream with 93.6% marks followed by Master Pranshu Sharma with 93% marks and Master Shivakant Sonkar with 90.6% marks.

v  Master Vivek Kumar Dwivedi topped commerce stream with 85.6% marks. and Miss Sweksha Singh topped Humanities stream with 82.6% marks.

v  In ALL INDIA Secondary School examination of class X, the overall result was 92.6%. Master Prasoon Tiwari topped with 93% marks followed by  Miss Aradhana with 92.4% marks,  Mohammad Shadab with 91.6% marks , Master Prakhar Yadav and Miss Pratiksha Singh with 91.2% marks.

v  The position holders and rankers of class X and XII have been felicitated by silver medals by IFFCO Administration on the occasion of Independence Day 2018.

v  In our constant endeavour to better our academic performance we are going to Conduct study camps and tutorial classes for class 9th,10th,11th,12th during the winter break. Remedial measures for slow learners are being taken for all the subjects in zero periods on regular basis.

v  It would be pertinent to mention here that in order to make the students of kendriya vidaylyas  reach the mark of excellence, KVS is running many flagship programmes throughout India like Back to Basics, SWASTH BACCHE SWASTH BHARAT, JIGYASA, TARUNOTSAV, BRIDGE COURSE, COMMUNICATION SKILL DEVELOPMENT , AWAKENED CITIZEN PROGRAMME,ACCADEMIC LOSS COMPENSATION PROGRAMME  AND BHASHA SANGAM etc.




In the present scenario co –curricular activities have undergone a massive change. The Vidyalaya is making every effort to bring excellence. All-round development is our ultimate goal and we encourage every student to open up to show his/her talent through participation in various cultural activities. Students who bagged first position will be given away prizes and certificate on this auspicious occasion by the gracious hand of our Hon’ble chief Guest. A great number of students have own awards in various extracurricular activities at Regional and National level too.

v  I am glad to inform this august gathering that one student of our Vidyalaya Master Ankush Kumar of class XI – C got published a book of 41 poems. He titled the book – Poonam in the respect of his mother’s name Smt. Poonam Devi. This book was released on 28th Sep., 2018 by Shri D.T.S. Rao Hon’ble Deputy Commissioner, K V S, Varanasi Region on his visit to the Vidyalaya for panel Inspection.  


Realizing the importance of games and sports the vidyalaya provides necessary infrastructure and training. As result the achievement in the arena of sport is rocking and our children took part at the Regional , Zonal and National level and got selected in various events. 4 students bagged position at the prestigious ALL India level events. These students are –

1. Master Aditya  XI A – Cricket

2. Master Ajeet Yadav XI C – Cricket

3. Master Anant Verma IX A – T.T.

4. Master Ankit Sonaker VIII B – T.T.


Vidyalaya is registered with KVS Division of Bharat Scout and Guide for scout guide activities and targets. 190 students are enrolled as CUB, BULBUL ,SCOUT AND GUIDES under the able trainers . I take pride in mentioning that 5 students won the RAJYA PURASKAAR AWARD and brought laurels to the vidyalaya.


Total 59 Students participated in mathematics Olampiad-2018, sponsered by INDIAN ASSOCITION OF PHYSICS TEACHER(IAPT) and out of which 03 students namely Mastar Adarsh Agnihotri class XII Science, Mastar Utkarsh class XII science and Mastar Priyansh Shukla class X B have been selected for Regional Mathematics Olympiad-2018.


UNDER NAEP PROGRAMME our Vidyalaya is registered on AEP-MIS Site and a team of trained teachers caters the needs of adolescents by organising various counselling programmes regularly.

THE NATURE AND INTEGRITY CLUB were constituted to promote awareness and belongingness towards nature and surroundings under which children learn identification of plants and get acquainted with their botanical and common names



I am happy to share this august gathering that the our vidyalaya hosted cluster level social science exhibition 2018. A team of 51 students from our vidyalaya participated in 14 different programmes along with innovative exhibits  at K V 39 GTC Varanasi which received wide round of applause from the jury. The students of our Vidyalaya bagged positions almost in all the events. The achievement of our vidyalaya as follows-

l  Group Dance- Tripura -IInd Position.

l  Group Dance- Mangolia -IInd Position.

l  Hindi Debate- Jr. Group -IInd Position.

l  Hindi Debate- Sr. Group -IInd Position.

l  Hindi Kavya Paath Jr. Group - IInd Position.

l  Hindi Kavya Paath Sr. Group - IInd Position.

l  Sanskrit Shloka - Ist Position.

l  English Elocution- Ist Position.

l  Creative writting- Jr. Group - IInd Position.

l  Spell Bee- Sr. Group- IInd Position.

l  Solo Dance- IInd Position.

l  And  seven Project were selected for reginal level competition.

Two students of our vidyalaya brought laurels to this vidyalaya by representing varanasi region at national level social science exhibition 2018. They are -

1. Mastar Priyansh Shukla of Class X – B in English elocution .

2. Miss Krishna Shukla of Class VII – A in Sanskrit Shloka.


Vidyalaya is taking a very keen interest to be the part and parcel of the national drive like:

Vigilance awareness week, Library week, Hindi Pakhwara, Swaccha Bharat Abhiyan, Sanskrit week, National unity day,Earth day, Disability day, Conserve our planet day, National Science day, Yoga day, National Education day, National constitution day, Youth day, Thinking day etc. were celebrated apart from the national festivals  to foster the feeling of National Integration which is the urgent need of day.



The Vidyalaya had its scheduled annual inspection on 28- Sep- 2018 by a team of veteran and experienced principals headed by Shri DTS RAO Hon’ble Deputy Commissioner KVS VARANASI region .He expressed his delight on the overall performance and progress of Vidyalaya. He also desired to make this Vidyalaya as a role model for the other KVs of Varanasi region.


We constantly strive to upgrade and update our teaching learning process. For this purpose various aspect of teaching and latest educational techonology were conducted at regional and zonal level at ZIET Gwalior. 03 teachers attended as part of routine activities to strengthen teaching methodology and to be aware with recent teaching skills


·        The Vidyalaya library is well equipped with 11699 books including reference books, text books, journals and National dailies . 548 more new books have been purchased during this session. The students of our Vidyalaya donated  1849 old books to the library for the help of needy students.

·        The Vidyalaya follows the latest trends in the field of information and technology We have two computer labs equipped with 51 working computers with internet facility multimedia projectors and visualizes to facilitate interactive learning.

·        .The Vidyalaya is fully equipped with Physics, Chemistry and bio lab.

·        Vidyalaya has enough number of Wash rooms, RO and water coolers.

·        I am glad to specify that KVS Varanasi region bestowed confidence exclusively to our Vidyalaya to develop ENGLISH LANGUAGE LAB which is equipped with 30 computers    with all required accessories where children learn English language joyfully. It was the main focus for Hon’ble D C Sir during the panel Inspection.

·        Vidyalaya has 03 smart classes equipped computer and internet facility.

·        Vidyalaya has modified washrooms and also promoted drinking water facilities, beautified boundary walls and developed a new play ground, Children Park equipped with various swings and play things and a curved path through lawn.



The Vidyalya has one  resource room to develop skills amongst tender aged students and for quality improvements of primary education.  For the fulfilment of the aim, educational films are shown to the children once in a week.



·        Mock fire drills by IFFCO administration was demonstrated in order to equip students to save their and others life at the time of exigencies.

·        Regular and periodical check-up of students has been done.

·        47 students of our vidyalaya participated in 31st youth parliament and exercised the parliamentary affairs of India in a befitting manner.

·        Shala darpan,  a very prestigious project initiated by our vidyalya is also included in honrable PM’s DIGITAL INDIA PROJECT.

·        Most of the students of 2018 batch brought laurels and kudos to the vidaylya as they have been selected for various professional courses. These students are -

1. Master Shiva kant Sonkar IIT Bhilai.

2. Miss Shristi Singh, Master Roshan Gupta,Miss Ishika Sharma in KIIT kalingan.

3. Miss Geentangali Tripathi IMS Ghazia bad.

4. Master Bhanu Prakash- GLA Mathura.

5. Master Siddharth Singh UPES Dehradun.

6. Master Vivek Dwivedi Delhi University

I feel elated to inform that one of our teacher smt. Poonam tiwari  TGT Art & Edu. got  2nd prize at Regional level and  got selected to participate in National level competition for music and art values of

K .V. S.

Recently,  online learning of Music and culture “VIRSA” an NGO has lunched the programmes “ Routes to Roots” in Kendriya Vidyalayas and in our Vidyalaya also. They have installed the software for online learning.

²  Before I wind up the Annual Report, I take this opportunity to extend my heartfelt thanks to our Sr. E.D. Sir for extending his continuous support in all round development of the Vidyalaya.

²  I would also like to thank Sh. R. B. Maiti sir who remains readly available to us to provide guidance and support.

²  I am also thankful to Sh. Masood sir, Kudesia Sir, Office bearers of Officer Association and Employees union and other Officers of IFFCO for whole hearted support.

²  I would like to make a special mention about Sh. S. K. Mittal, Sh. Vikas Sukhija, Sh. P. N. Maurya and Sh. Sanjeev Singh for their cooperation and continuous support.


Sir, your kind blessings and motivations and guidance helped us to achieve a lot and still much remains to be achieved. In the word of an educationist “EDUCATION IS SHARED COMITMENT BETWEEN DEDICATED TEACHERS , MOTIVATED STUDENTS AND ENTHISUASTIC PARENTS WITH HIGH EXPECTATIONS” I do hope that this vidyalaya could march ahead with firm determination, strong will power and stewardship to attain the desired and multiple goal with missionary sprit. All staff member of vidyalaya are pillars of strength and for us each child is good immense .we always try our best to ensure that children coming to this vidyalaya for learning  should go out of the Vidyalaya to serve his/her great nation as novel and responsible citizen.
